Future players hear from the coaches

The “friends” of Abilene native Cody Whitehair, third from left, an offensive lineman with the Chicago Bears, talk to second through fifth grade youth Wednesday during the opening day of the Cody Whitehair & Friends Football camp at Abilene’s Cowboy Stadium. The friends, all football players, served as coaches during the camp. From left are Collin Sexton, Boston Stiverson, Whitehair, Jake Sharpe, Jordy Nelson, Connor Harris and Zach Miller. The camp, which also has sessions for older youth through high school seniors, concludes today.
