Bandits 12U place second at Clay Center

The Abilene Bandits 12U team participated in a tournament in Clay Center this past weekend, and finished as the runner-up with a 3-1 record. Abilene defeated Clay Center 9-7, Junction City 12-10, and Republic Valley 16-1 before dropping a tough championship game to Clay Center 4-3. Also participating at Clay Center were the Abilene Bandits 11U and 9U teams. The Bandits 11U went 2-1 but did not place. They defeated the Southeast Sharks 12-1, Clay Center 13-5, and lost to Salina Junior Cougars 14-7. The Abilene Bandits 9U team was 0-3 in the tournament.
