Abilene native, AHS alum Allyne Clark was drafted by Moh-BEEL! USA in professional softball.

Clark, a 2016 Iona College graduate, is listed as catcher and utility.

Moh-BEEL! USA boasted the best record in the league last season with 10-All Stars and seven All-ASBA players. Leading the team was Bobby Buchanan, who is currently an assistant coach at the University of Texas at Arlington. Buchanan won the ASBA’s Coach of the Year Award in 2018.

The ASBA is a professional women’s softball league. The four-team league begins play June 14th.

Clark played in 22 games for Iona College during her senior season in 2016. She ended with a .222 average and had a .962 fielding average. She batted .138 in 23 games in 2015 with a .931 fielding average for the Gaels.
