Jeffrey T. “Jeff” Wilson, 59, passed away peacefully at home Sunday, June 2, 2019.

He was born March 16, 1960, in Abilene, the son of Thomas O. and Phyllis M. (Bibb) Wilson. Growing up in Abilene, Jeff attended local schools and graduated from Abilene High School with the class of 1978. He worked for his father in his business, Captain Clean. Jeff enjoyed spending time with friends and family and hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his parents, sisters Chadra (Leonard) Schmitz of Abilene and Denise (Scott) Friis of Arvada, Colorado, niece Jessica (Brian) Seaton of Olathe, nephews Jeremiah Schmitz of Abilene and Matthew (Suzie) Schmitz of Overland Park, and great-nieces Madelin Schmitz of Overland Park, Hannah Schmitz of Warrensburg, Missouri, Savannah Seaton of Olathe and Hazel Seaton of Olathe.

The family has chosen cremation. A Parish Rosary will be recited 10 a.m. July 5, with visitation following until service time at 11 a.m. at Danner Funeral Home. Private family inurnment will be later.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in his name be made to Central Kansas Mental Health Center. They may be left at or sent in care of Danner Funeral Home, P.O. Box 758, Abilene, KS 67410.
