An Abilene woman and a Junction City man were arrested last week by the Abilene police on charges related to the distribution of controlled substances.
Dane Brenden, 29, of Junction City, and Betty Vannote, 40, of Abilene were arrested on Friday.
According to a release by the Abilene Police Department, Brenden could face charges that include conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, unlawful use of a telecommunications device, failure to obtain a drug tax stamp, possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful acts involving drug proceeds.
Vannote could face charges that include conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance and unlawful use of a telecommunications device.
Both Breden and Vannote are currently in custody at the Dickinson County Jail.
