Beverly Ann Wieters, passed away March 3, 2013 at Salina Regional Hospital, Salina, KS. She was 81 years old. Beverly was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Abilene, KS.
Beverly was born August 20, 1931 near Industry, Kansas, the daughter of Charles and Hazel (Wooten) Elsasser. She was a graduate of Chapman High School with the class of 1949.
On June 12, 1949 she was married to Lyle Enyart. All of their married life was spent in the Industry community. Lyle preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one son, Michael Enyart, and daughter, Marlene Enyart.
On February 1, 1975 she was married to Neil Wieters. All of their married life has been spent in Abilene where they owned and operated Wieters Distributors from 1981 until retirement in 1993. Beverly is survived by three daughters: Jeannette Fenton, Greenleaf, KS; Jenise Braden, Broken Arrow, OK; Janine Schaich, Abilene, KS; four step-daughters: Colette Crist, Kansas City, MO; Coleen Nicholas, Sheridan, WY; Christine Herrmann, Longmont, CO; Carla Shaw, Lee’s Summit, MO; one-step son, Tim Wieters, Chapman, KS; twenty-two grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren with two more great-granddaughters on the way; two brothers, Harvey Elsasser, Chapman, KS and Bruce Elsasser, Wakefield, KS.
Respect calls will be held Wednesday, March 6th from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Martin-Becker-Carlson Funeral Home in Abilene, KS. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Thursday, March 7th at Faith Lutheran Church, Abilene, KS, with Pastor Justin Panzer officiating. Final resting place will be at Green Ridge Cemetery.
