William B. ‘Bill’ Blake

William B. “Bill” Blake, 67, Minneapolis, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2013 at his home. He was born August 20, 1945 in Concordia to Bryce and Wilma (Tipton) Blake.

Bill was a 1963 graduate of Ada High School. He was custom harvester from 1975 to 1983 and he was the owner and operator of B&B Waste Management in Minneapolis. On September 5, 1981 he was united in marriage with Brenda Belvill in Delphos.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife Brenda of the home; sons Brady Blake and his wife Jennifer of Abilene, Barry Blake and his wife Tara of Minneapolis, and Wade Blake and his wife Lori also of Minneapolis; brothers Dale Blake and his wife Robin of Salina and Jon Blake and his wife Joleen of Minneapolis; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 20, at the Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Minneapolis. Visitation will be from 2 P.M. to 8 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ada Community Building and may be left in care of Wilson Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 166, Minneapolis, KS 67467.
