Cheryl Schmale, of Garden City, gets acquainted with Aksent Boutique owner Jamie Stroda while Carson Carney, right, wraps Schmale’s new scarf and Maura Pastran, center, wraps up the sale.
Local models will be rocking the runway tonight at Aksent Boutique.
The jewelry and clothing shop is hosting its annual fashion show, unveiling its fall fashions and announcing the winning “Cause Bra,” all in the name of breast cancer awareness.
Stroda said the boutique plans to host the fashion show from 6 to 7 p.m., followed by a special hour of shopping in which 15 percent of all sales go to Impact the Cure, in coordination with Memorial Health System.
Funds raised will help provide free mammogram clinics and mammography services for uninsured people in Dickinson County.
