SALINA –– Wilma A. Britt, 79, died Thursday, Sept. 12, in Salina. She was born Oct. 27, 1933 in White, S.D., the daughter of Kenneth and Alice (Story) Inglis. Growing up in Sioux Falls, S.D., she attended local schools and graduated from Sioux Falls Washington High School with the class of 1951. On Oct. 7, 1953, she was married to Stephan Mason. Their married life was spent in Minneapolis, Denver and Boise until divorcing in 1964. On Aug. 6, 1966, she was married to Lowell Dean Britt. The early years of their married life was spent in Boise until moving to Salina in 1989. He preceded her in death March 2, 1999.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles Inglis.
Survived by: two daughters Patricia Ann Ferguson, Haysville, Christine Britt, Topeka; three sons Timothy Dean Britt, Wichita; Richard Allen Britt, Everett, Wash.; Michael Alan Britt Mineral Wells, Texas; one sister Violet Harldson, Watertown, S.D.; one brother, Howard Inglis, Los Angeles, Calif.; several grand and great-grandchildren
Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, Sept.16, at the Prairiedale Cemetery north of Talmage with Rev. Jenny Collins officiating.
