CHAPMAN –– Neva Louise Roudybush, 69, Chapman, died Monday, Aug. 26, 2013. at Memorial Hospital in Abilene.
Neva was born Sept. 21, 1943, at Pasko, Wash. to Weir and Della Irwin Neff. The family lived at Blue Rapids, and she graduated from Marysville High School with the Class of 1961. She was married to Richard Roudybush on June 3, 1961.
They moved to Chapman in 1970, and they managed the Texaco Station, north of Chapman. They got a divorce, and she worked at many different jobs, including working as a waitress, a bus driver for USD 473 at Chapman, and she was employed at Russell Stover’s in Abilene.
She is survived by her four sons: Jeff Roudybush of Chapman, Byron Roudybush of Belgrade, Mont., Steven Roudybush of Paradise, Calif., and Jared Roudybush of Elkton, Md.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; her companion, Dale Will, of 30 years; one sister Marjean Ryland of Kansas, and one brother Larry Neff of Colorado Springs, Colo.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at the Londeen Funeral Chapel, 206 W. Fifth in Chapman, at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013. Rev. Kenneth Trickle, Jr. will officiate. Burial will be at the Indian Hill Cemetery in Chapman.
The family will receive friends at the Londeen Funeral Chapel from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday , Aug. 28. The Londeen Funeral Chapel will be open for visitation beginning Wednesday at 1 p.m. Memorials may be given to the Friends of the Animals, Box 580, Junction City, KS 66441.
