HOPE –– Kenneth Paul Jocius, 64 of Hope, died Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013 at his residence. He was born May 24, 1949, in Chicago, Ill., the son of Paul and Violet (Spirauskas) Jocius.
He graduated High School from Quigley South Seminary in Chicago. Kenneth proudly served in the Marines from 1969 until 1971 during Viet Nam. Kenneth worked in the tech industry in the District of Columbia and Chicago.
On Feb. 14, 1992, he married Connie (McMahan) in Palos Hills, Ill.. He is survived by his wife Connie, son Craig Jocious of Maryland, daughter Michele August of Hope; four grandchildren, one sister, Rita Golden of Wichita. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Memorial Graveside service with Military Honors for Kenneth will be 11 a.m., Monday, Aug. 26, 2013 at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Tampa, with Fr. Darrin May as Celebrant.
