SALINA –– Henry C. “Hank” Regehr, 82, of Salina, died Saturday, August 10, 2013. He was born June 16, 1931 at Dalhart, Texas, the son of Curt T. and Sarah (Androes) Regehr.
Henry grew up at Inamn and was a graduate of Inman High School. He farmed, was a Korean Army Veteran, than worked as an electrician until retirement. He was a member of the Church of Christ, Isis Shrine of Salina and Masonic Lodge 437, Enterprise, Kansas.
Henry was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Shirley; his parents; an infant daughter and an infant son, and a brother, Robert. Survivors include his son, Steven, of Hamilton, Ohio; two granddaughters, Stephanie and Katie; a great-grandson, Marcus, of Phoenix, Arizona; one brother, Virgil and wife Marie, of Inman; two sisters, LaVera Newfeld, of Bluffton, Ohio and Arlene Schroeder and husband Lewis, of Inman and nephew, Jason Jones and wife Ann, of Salina.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 14, at Ryan Mortuary, Salina, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. A lunch will he held at 12 p.m. Thursday, August 15, at Church of Christ, 1645 N. Ninth St., Salina. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Prairiedale Cemetery, Talmage.
Memorials are suggested to Shriners Hospitals for Children, Church of Christ, or the Tammy Walker Cancer Center.
