County Administrator Brad Homman reported some roads were damaged in Dickinson County because of the high water.

“This is a great reminder to the public of just why you should never drive through standing water,” he said.
“You never know what is below the surface or what is not,” he said. “This particular hole is right at 14 feet deep to the bottom. The picture is a bit deceiving. Had the hole opened at all on the top it could certainly swallow up a small car and never be seen from the top.”
