From left, Kris Gilchrist, David Rankin and Becky Schwab, pose in front of the new pipe organ, which was donated to Faith Lutheran Church. When Carl Fieser, of Great Bend, set out to find a church to donate the organ to, he wanted one that already had an organist in the congregation and one that held traditional services with hymnals. Abilene’s Faith Lutheran met the requirements, Gilchrist and Schwab are the organists for the church. Rankin, owner of RankinOrgans150 in Ellsworth, facilitated the donation, move it, and set it up.
